Win an Evening Soiree at The Mansion!
The Sierra State Parks Foundation presents a rare opportunity to experience a private evening inside the Ehrman-Hellman Mansion at Sugar Pine Point State Park,on the shore of LakeTahoe. This unique fund-raising raffle may afford you and twenty-three of your friends a rare experience to dine inside the Mansion.
You will be hosted for this special occasion with sparkling wines, a five-course huntsman dinner, and live period music when you are the winner of this unique fund-raising raffle.
Only one hundred tickets will be sold at $100 each, and the fortunate winner will be chosen immediately after the 100th ticket is sold! You will choose your date by making a reservation with the Sugar Pine Point State Park Special Events coordinator on a first-come, first- served basis during the 2015 season while The Mansion is open.
Today The Mansion is maintained as a museum and as an example of the opulent tradition of Tahoe summer homes of the historic past. The Ehrman-Hellman Mansion, known as Pine Lodge, set the standard for grand turn-of-the-century living at Lake Tahoe. Mrs. Hellman regularly entertained friends and family, nobles and dignitaries during the family’s time summering at their lakefront home. Staff prepared meals from their sumptuous garden and nature’s offerings fromtheLakeandthesurroundingfieldsandforests.
Your evening meal will include elegantly prepared faire by Chef Doug Baehr. Sparkling wine, beer and other beverages reminiscent of the period will be paired with each course, and accompanied by live period music during the evening.
All standard park facility rules will apply to this event. Proceeds will contribute to the ongoing maintenance of Pine Lodge.
