Vikingsholm historian and advocate, Helen Smith will be honored with an evening celebration overlooking Emerald Bay with a picnic style BBQ and rededication of the Visitor Center exhibit featuring Smith's lifelong association with Vikingsholm. We will be unveiling the video short:, A Conversation with History: Dr. Helen Smith. This evening celebration benefits the work of the Sierra State Parks Foundation.
Guests will meet at DL Bliss State Park to drive into Emerald Bay at 5pm.
Seating is limited and reservations are required.
