We have a very special evening planned! Docents will lead your small group in a “behind the scenes” tour of the historic Hellman-Ehrman Mansion at Sugar Pine Point State Park. The tour will be followed by Tahoe Ridge Winery wines and exquisit hors d’oeuvres to enjoy of the front porch overlooking Lake Tahoe.
The evening will conclude with famed author and historian McAvoy Layne reenacting the role of Mark Twain. An early traveler to Lake Tahoe, Twain will share his humor, wisdom and insights on this great region.
An Evening of Wine and Wisdom benefits the work of the Sierra State Parks Foundation and runs from 5:00-7:30pm.The ticket price include parking fees. Limited to 50 guests.
